Gary Neville feels United fans may need to be patient with Memphis Depay

Gary Neville is excited by the prospect of watching Memphis Depay play for Manchester United, but admits the winger still has much to learn if he is to become a star.

United made an early start to their summer recruitment drive two weeks ago when they signed Depay from PSV Eindhoven for €35million.

With the Dutch season now over, Depay is free to complete his transfer to the 20-time English champions and a medical was reported to be under way on Monday.
