Doyle looks set for fresh start with Wolves

Republic of Ireland international striker Kevin Doyle has been handed the possibility of a fresh start at Wolves.

Doyle looks set for fresh start with Wolves

Doyle was shipped out on-loan to Crystal Palace in August and is due back at Wolves in January. Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has hinted that Doyle, who has made just three substitute appearances for Palace in the Premier League, could then come in from the cold at Molineux.

Wolves will lose forwards Nouha Dicko and Bakary Sako to the African Nations with Mali in January and Jackett said: “I would never say that Kevin has played his last game for Wolves.

“In January when the two lads are away we will be addressing the situation and we will see if Kevin is the right person.

“A lot can happen between now and January but I wouldn’t rule out Kevin if it is right and he can help the team.”
