Juventus make approach for Evra

The French full-back recently signed a new one-year contract that was sanctioned by new United manager Louis van Gaal.
However, the Senegalese born player may be seeking a new challenge after United splashed out £27m - a record fee for a teenager - on Southampton's left-sided defender Luke Shaw.
Juventus star and Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is said to have opened talks with the Premier League club about a possible transfer and Evra going the other way may form part of that deal.

Evra was a pivotal member of France's impressive run to the quarter-finals of the World Cup where they were beaten by Germany.
He signed for United in 2006 from Monaco and has won the Premier League five times as well as the Champions League in 2008.
He is a popular member of the dressing room at Old Trafford and has captained the Red Devils on a number of occasions.
The defender would be the latest in a long list of players to exit United this summer.
Centre-back Rio Ferdinand was released and Nemanja Vidic left on a free to Inter Milan, while new assistant manager Ryan Giggs announced his retirement from the playing staff at the end of last season.
