Everton full-back Seamus Coleman, below, says being included in the PFA Team of the Year is a “massive honour” given the line-up is determined by votes from fellow professionals.

The Irish international was named in the all-star XI revealed on Sunday and was thrilled to see off competition from Manchester City’s Pablo Zabaleta and Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic to claim the right-back berth.

“It’s a massive honour. When the players have voted, it means that bit more,” said Coleman, the first Irishman since Richard Dunne (2009/10) to make the team.
