The Sunderland chief executive’s warning not to smuggle fireworks and their like into St James’ Park was touched by farce thanks to an embarrassing programme printing gaffe that’s in stark contrast to the serene progress being made by Sunderland, who are at present word-perfect. As for Newcastle, they were just one long typo.
