Di Canio walks on wild side

There are plenty who can talk, engagingly and intelligently, for hours on any subject you might wish. But those three stand out for their ability to say outrageous things. While Mourinho and, to an extent, Holloway do it for the benefit of their team, you wonder what Di Canio’s motivations are.
After this game — which was won for Palace when at 1-1 John O’Shea misjudged a bouncing ball and hacked down Dwight Gayle leading to a penalty, which Gayle scored, and a red card — Holloway was full of the joys of the club’s first victory of the season, talking about how he was making a ‘casserole or a cake’ with the ingredients of the new players he was bringing in.
