The only thing left worth taking at Emirates is food

Robin van Persie nearly went to the home dressing room by mistake when he arrived at Arsenal’s stadium yesterday afternoon. How they all smiled.

Afterwards, he headed there on purpose to hang out with his former Arsenal teammates. They all had a good laugh again.

The first person he spoke to was no doubt Bacary Sagna, the Arsenal defender who gifted him the penalty that enabled him to score on his return to the club he left last summer. That also helped him make up for the embarrassment of helping to create Arsenal’s goal for Theo Walcott with a nervy mis-placed pass inside the second minute.
