Last Tuesday night, their national team beat France 1-0 at the Stade de France, which should be enough to ensure they top their World Cup qualifying group.

Spain, of course, hold both the World Cup and European Championship crowns. The win in Paris also extended their phenomenal unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying games, a 50-match streak that goes back to March 1993 when they lost 1-0 in Denmark.
