Hull-bound Brady to say farewell to Fergie

Alex Ferguson will today meet Robbie Brady to finalise the player’s future after Manchester United formally sanctioned his €3 million transfer to Hull City.

Brady passed a medical at Hull yesterday and agreed personal terms on a three-and-half-year deal which will see his weekly wage immediately double to around €15,000.

Ferguson had intended allowing Brady’s loan deal with the Premier League promotion chasers, which expired last Wednesday, to be extended until the end of the season but that was before Steve Bruce tempted his former boss with a cash offer for a permanent deal over the weekend.

It is understood a sell-on clause has been agreed to guarantee United a share of any future transfer fee.
