Leaders bid to break record
Rovers are unbeaten in their last seven league games against Derry, their longest ever unbeaten run against the Candystripes, and avoiding defeat in tonight’s match would set a new club record of unbeaten league games.
“These are type of games that at the start of the season you want to bring to the club,” said manager Ian Baraclough.
“We are right in the mix with five matches to go and we have earned the chance to be the fox, if you like, and be chased by other teams. Everyone is focused on what we have to do and whatever happens in other matches, our job is to get three points on Saturday.”
In the First Division, second placed Waterford United travel to Finn Harps, while SD Galway entertain third-placed Longford Town.
