Germany’s Klose confident of good night in Vienna

Germany striker Miroslav Klose is looking to continue his impressive scoring streak against Austria and is confident the team will be better in front of goal than their opening World Cup Group C qualifier tonight (7.35pm).

The players were criticised for not scoring more in Friday’s 3-0 win over minnows the Faroe Islands but today’s opponents in Vienna are expected to be less defensive, something which should suit Klose.

He has scored five goals in four victories against their neighbours and is now just four short of Gerd Muller’s national record of 68.
