Mancini backs Tevez to lead City’s title defence

Roberto Mancini expects Carlos Tevez to play a key role in Manchester City’s title defence this season.

Tevez scored a stunning goal as City came from behind to beat Chelsea 3-2 in yesterday’s Community Shield and Mancini feels having a full pre-season under his belt will aid the Argentine this season.
