City players all fired up as Rovers come calling
Following last week’s attendance of just short of 4,000 for the visit of Drogheda United, another big crowd will be expected at the Cross tonight, but they will be hoping for much better from the home side.
After surrendering a two-goal lead, City finally lost out 2-3 to Drogheda, making it two defeats from two on the club’s return to the top flight, having already gone down by a single goal on their opening night visit to UCD.
