Cummins set for move to Preston

Cork City look set to lose hotshot striker Graham Cummins after Preston North End submitted a bid believed to be in the region of €120,000 for the player.

City agreed to sell the striker, who scored 24 goals as the club claimed the Airtricity First Division title in dramatic circumstances last year, and he was discussing personal terms with the English club yesterday.

A statement on Cork’s website claimed an undisclosed fee had been agreed and Cummins is in talks with the npower League One team.
