Trap waiting for something back

REALLY, it was a surprise that Giovanni Trapattoni was even in Kiev for yesterday’s Euro 2012 draw.

And that’s not because of anything to do with his style, performances, team or the eventual nightmare group. Rather, his extreme superstitions. “The last time I went to a draw, it was for the 2002 World Cup finals,” Trapattoni said in 2009. “And I was very unlucky. I don’t want to jinx it this time.”

It could be said that already happened given the extreme difficulty of Ireland’s draw.
