In the First Division, Carrigaline United moved to the top of the table after defeating Castleview 3-2 at Ballea Park.
Both sides went into the game level on points at the top but Carrigaline showed their strength to earn all three points.
Elsewhere in the First Division, unbeaten Fermoy were too strong for Cobh Wanderers in Cobh as the north Cork side ran out 3-1 winners, while Ballincollig defeated Tramore Athletic 3-1 in Ballincollig.
In the second division, Temple United inflicted a first defeat on leaders Mallow United as they ran out 2-1 winners at Temple Park.
Glasheen defeated Passage 2-0 in Passage, while Youghal United hammered Crofton Celtic 4-1 in Youghal on Friday night.
There was one Keane Cup quarter final played where Bandon continued their great start to the season with a 3-1 win over struggling Ringmahon Rangers in Bandon.
