Wenger presiding over comedy of errors

THE good news for Arsene Wenger is that Arsenal are not scheduled to visit the North West again until December.

The region has become a graveyard for Wenger and his players, with Saturday’s capitulation at Ewood Park the latest in a long line of poor results the London club has suffered stretching back over a number of seasons.

It was only five months ago that their faint title hopes evaporated after Tamir Cohen’s stoppage time winner for Bolton while the less said about the recent defeat at Old Trafford the better.
