Ronaldo not up to it in big games for Real, claims Guti

FORMER Real Madrid midfielder Guti has accused Cristiano Ronaldo of failing to perform in big matches.

The 34-year-old, who left Madrid last summer to join Turkish side Besiktas, believes Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is the superior player due to his ability to produce his best in the most important fixtures.

“Cristiano is a great player,” he said of his former team-mate.
