Tevez’s reveals Spain desire and Boca dream

MANCHESTER CITY captain Carlos Tevez has confirmed that he wants to play in Spain before ending his career at hometown club Boca Juniors, fuelling further speculation that he will leave Eastlands this summer and join Real Madrid.

Tevez’s reveals Spain desire and Boca dream

Tevez, who scored all three goals in City’s 3-0 win over West Brom on Saturday, handed in a transfer request demanding to leave in December but it was rejected. Tevez then withdrew the request. Madrid were reported to be lining up a January swoop for the Argentine forward following an injury to his compatriot Gonzalo Higuain. Instead, they signed another City player, Emmanuel Adebayor, on loan for the rest of the season.

“I will play for [my first club] Boca Juniors before I quit football, you can be sure about that,’’ said Tevez. “That’s the club I really love. But before that, I would love to play in Spain. That’s something I owe myself in my life.

“I would give up money to move back to Argentina. I’m thinking of moving back to my country — but that is going to happen when I feel that it is the right moment. I have no idea about what I’m going to do when I quit football and I don’t care.”
