Denilson assures Cesc over leadership

DENILSON has assured Cesc Fabregas that he has no doubts regarding the Spaniard’s ability as Arsenal captain after the Brazilian earlier told a TV station that Fabregas “is not the leader to me”.

Denilson said last night: “Fabregas is a great friend. When I said the team had no leadership it was to point out that Arsenal have a very young squad and sometimes lack a more experienced person, as it had for many years with Gilberto Silva for example.”
