Slicker City topple Toon

CARLOS TEVEZ, the player who has given Roberto Mancini more problems than anybody else during his 12 months in charge at Manchester City, yesterday ensured that his manager celebrated his first anniversary in style.

Tevez scored twice and created the other goal for Gareth Barry as City cemented second place in a Premier League where Mancini is starting to feel at home.

And, significantly as Mancini bids to win their first trophy for 36 years, Tevez’s recent dispute with the club has apparently not affected his appetite for football.
