UNDER-PRESSURE Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini has asked for more time in the post after his side lost their third match in a row against Lech Poznan on Thursday night.

Mancini takes City into the biggest week of their season ­ playing West Brom tomorrow before hosting Manchester United next Wednesday ­ amid reports of dressing-room bust-up and unrest at his methods.

But the Italian has hit back and insisted that his side is not yet playing the way he wants them to because of a succession of injuries to key players. Captain Carlos Tevez has missed the three games City have lost, while summer signings Mario Balotelli and Aleksandr Kolarov have only just returned to the set-up.
