Trapattoni: Capello keen on Inter job

REPUBLIC of Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni believes England manager Fabio Capello is keen to take charge of Inter Milan.

Capello is on Inter’s list of candidates to replace Jose Mourinho and club president Massimo Moratti has indicated he will move for the 63-year-old once England’s World Cup campaign is over.

FA officials yesterday resumed discussions with Capello with a view to removing the release clause inserted in the Italian’s contract which allows him to move on after the World Cup.
