Patience a virtue as Stokes in the frame

LILY ALLEN wrote a song called ‘22’ recently. It was about a woman whose life was perceived to be over at the age of 30.

Who knows what sort of music Anthony Stokes listens to but he could probably empathise with the sentiment.

The Dubliner is only 21. He has a whole career in front of him but it seemed for a while there that his future was already in the rear view mirror after an unhappy spell at Sunderland.
