Player power out of control

I despair that authorities fail to do their duty in terms of a responsibility to uphold the morality of behaviour in the sport.

There’s no need to revisit the Eduardo saga. I’ll be a old man before another high-profile footballer is brought to book for simulation. But I caught a flight out of Manchester airport last Sunday night feeling sure that the FA would hold Craig Bellamy and Gary Neville properly to account for their actions in the derby at Old Trafford.
