Wenger calls on Gunners to end Euro wait

ARSENE WENGER has told his team of young players the time has arrived for them to come of age and fill what has been a massive hole in the CV of Arsenal Football Club.

Arsenal has never won the Champions League or European Cup despite being regarded as one of the giants of the Premier League but Wenger will take his side to Old Trafford today confident history is about to be made.

He has one or two injury problems with Mikael Silvestre and Kieran Gibbs, both contenders to play at left-back and mark Cristiano Ronaldo, requiring fitness tests this morning.
