Keane facing a hairy situation

ABSURD as it may sound, there’s a theory doing the rounds that Roy Keane’s beard is a barometer of his mood: the longer he goes without shaving, the less he is enjoying life.

If stubble really does equal trouble, we cannot expect to see a clean-shaven Keane any time soon.

Unfounded reports on a local radio station claimed manager Keane had walked out on Sunderland on the eve of the game at Blackburn last weekend.
