‘Fed up’ Black Cats keeper Gordon targets better results

SUNDERLAND goalkeeper Craig Gordon is fed up with his side’s hard luck stories.

The unfortunate 24-year-old played an unwitting role in West Ham’s 3-1 victory over the Black Cats at Upton Park on Sunday as former Newcastle stars Nolberto Solano and Craig Bellamy compounded their woes.

Roy Keane’s men, who had dragged themselves back into the game when the hugely impressive Kenwyne Jones cancelled out Carlton Cole’s opener seven minutes after the break, were dominating when substitute Solano drilled a shot against the foot of the post and then saw it rebound into the net off the prone Gordon’s foot.
