Kuyt hoping to stay a Red for a ‘long time’

DUTCH striker Dirk Kuyt would be happy to commit the rest of his career to Liverpool.

The 26-year-old only joined the Anfield club in the summer for £9m (€13.7m) on a four-year contract, but has already intimated that he would be happy to stay for longer.

He said: “You never know what is going to happen in football but it would be perfect if I could stay here for a long, long time.
