Rooney in the dock again after incident with fan in Zagreb

ENGLAND’S bad night in Croatia has worsened after confirmation Wayne Rooney was involved in an altercation with a fan following Wednesday night’s 2-0 defeat.

Rooney was among a group of players heading to the team bus when he was singled out for a barrage of personal abuse from a supporter frustrated at the English performance.

Already disappointed by England’s defeat, Rooney is alleged to have responded.
