STEVE FINNAN believes the Liverpool defence have restored their confidence after Tuesday night’s 0-0 Champions League draw with PSV Eindhoven.

The five-times European champions secured their first clean sheet of an erratic campaign in the Philips Stadium in their opening Champions League Group C clash.
