Suarez giving nothing away

ECUADOR coach Luis Fernando Suarez will not announce his starting XI for the game against Costa Rica until the last minute. The Tricolor take on Los Ticos today in Hamburg in what is set to be the biggest game in their history.

“It may sound simple, but I will try not to give any clues to our rivals,” said Suarez. “I believe that the less information you give to your opponents, the better your chance of getting a positive result.”

Ecuador, who surprisingly beat Poland 2-0 to top Group A alongside Germany, are one step away from clinching their first qualification to the second round.
