Otto Pfister — coach Togo or to stay?

TOGO’S preparations were thrown into chaos again — 24 hours ahead of their World Cup date with South Korea.

It was widely believed that Otto Pfister would return as coach, after he quit in a row over unpaid bonuses.

Pfister’s son and agent, Mike, confirmed to FIFAworldcup.com that an agreement has been reached to enable his father to resume his duties.

“Yes, he is back as a Togo coach,” said Pfister Jr. “It is a matter of the heart.

A high-ranking government official has apparently rejected this, saying that one of Pfister’s assistants, Kodjovi Mawuena, will be in charge for their opening game.
