Cisse has suspected broken leg

LIVERPOOL striker Djibril Cisse could be out of the World Cup after being carried off with a suspected broken leg in France’s 3-1 friendly win over China last night.

Cisse fell awkwardly in a challenge early in the first half of the match in St Etienne. The 24-year-old, whose future at Anfield is uncertain, missed the majority of the 2004-05 season with a similar injury.

Friendlies: Liechtenstein 1 Australia 3; Croatia 1 Spain 2; France 3 China 1.
