Rovers stars not for sale, says chairman

BLACKBURN chairman John Williams has issued a hands-off warning to clubs looking to pinch their top stars this summer.

Craig Bellamy is the pick of Rovers’ bunch, with Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Tottenham all recently linked with the Wales striker who has scored 17 goals this season.

Several clubs have been put on alert following reports Bellamy has an escape clause in his contract, with the 26-year-old apparently needing to be notified of an offer of £6m or more.
