Vidic promises more consistency

MANCHESTER UNITED defender Nemanja Vidic admits he found it tough to adapt to life at Old Trafford, but believes he will be more consistent next season.

Vidic, aged 24, arrived in January with a big reputation after helping Serbia and Montenegro reach the World Cup finals.

However, he looked unconvincing in his first league match, which ended in 4-3 defeat at Blackburn, Vidic is beginning to feel settled in England after a spell in Russia.
