Barthez linked with PSG move

FABIEN BARTHEZ flew out to Stuttgart with the Manchester United squad despite speculation linking him with a move to Paris St Germain.

The French keeper has been frozen out of the first-team so far this season and has not even appeared on the bench as Tim Howard has held off the challenge of Roy Carroll to his starting place.

United insist there has been no contact with PSG even though their president Francis Graille has said he is hopeful of pushing through a deal with Old Trafford chief executive David Gill.
