Celtic cannot afford to lose showdown, warns O’Neill

CELTIC manager Martin O’Neill yesterday warned his quadruple chasing stars they cannot afford to lose today’s Old Firm clash at Parkhead.

Rangers would open up a nine-point gap over their arch-rivals at the top of the Scottish Premier League if they can win at Parkhead.

Celtic would still have a game in hand, but the manager believes that defeat would see the Ibrox men open a "significant gap" in the Scottish title race.
