United fans protest against potential Glazer takeover

HUNDREDS of Manchester United fans gathered at Old Trafford yesterday to protest against the potential takeover by American tycoon Malcolm Glazer.

More than 400 fans joined the protest after word was spread using the internet and mobile phones.

The fans were well behaved but sang songs which made death threats to Glazer.
