New Everton buy Neville set to face United on opening day

PHIL Neville has admitted it was “the most difficult decision of his life” to leave Old Trafford.

The 28-year-old defender is now set to face his old club on the opening day of the Premiership season after completing his move to Everton for a fee believed to be around £3.5million.

Neville has signed a five-year deal after spending 18 years with United, rising through the youth ranks to eventually make 386 appearances.
