Bellamy injury blow for Bhoys
The Wales international had been in excellent form the Hoops since joining the club on January 31 in a loan deal from Newcastle.
However, after terrorising the Rangers’ defence in the first half of the 2-1 win at Ibrox on Sunday, the 25-year-old pulled up as he chased a ball early in the second period.
Now Celtic Park boss Martin O’Neill will be without the forward for up to three weeks as he prepares to build on the current five-point advantage and capture the Bank of Scotland Premier League title.
Now, with Celtic on course to clinch the title at Hearts on May 15, Bellamy could miss the Tynecastle game.
The striker has already been linked with moves back to the Barclays Premiership and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also interested.
