Ali eyes Bolton success

OMAN goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi believes he can make an impact at Bolton because he has had a taste of European football.

Al Habsi, aged 23, kept a clean sheet on his debut last night for the reserves after arriving from Lyn Oslo, where he spent three seasons.

Rated as a top goalkeeper, he has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Reebok Stadium after securing a work permit.
