EVERTON manager David Moyes is demanding a return to the standards shown by his side in the first half of the season when they take on Bolton in today’s Premiership clash at Goodison Park.

Moyes was unhappy with the performance of his team in the scrappy 1-1 draw with Birmingham at St Andrews, which will largely be remembered for teenage striker Wayne Rooney’s sending-off for a challenge on Steve Vickers.

Now he is looking to cement the club’s current high standing in the division as they take on the Trotters and then Manchester City on New Year’s Day in successive home games.
