Huth included, Lehmann out of German squad

CHELSEA defender Robert Huth has been included in Germany’s squad for the 2006 World Cup hosts’ December tour of south-east Asia.

But Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has not been included, with coach Jurgen Klinsmann no doubt mindful the Premiership does not have a winter break.

Huth Christian Pander of Schalke and fellow defender Patrick Owomoyela from Arminia Bielefeld join Wolfsburg goalkeeper Simon Jentzsch as newcomers for the tour, which sees Germany face Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
