Continental make-over for Spurs

DANIEL LEVY unveiled Tottenham's new management trio yesterday and likened the continental-style set-up to that of mighty Real Madrid.

Tottenham chairman Levy admitted the previous regime of David Pleat and Glenn Hoddle had resulted in disharmony at the club, but said he was confident he had got it right this time with the appointments of Frank Arnesen, Jacques Santini and Martin Jol. Chris Hughton will remain at the club as assistant coach.

Levy said: "The continental approach has never actually been tried in England, so if it is good enough for Real Madrid then I think it is good enough for Tottenham.
