Moyes wants to build on draw

DAVID MOYES wants Everton to take the confidence they acquired in their battling draw with champions Chelsea into their Carling Cup clash with Middlesbrough.

After a season that has seen them dumped out of two European competitions and struggling at the foot of the Premier League, boss Moyes claims that holding the unbeaten league leaders has given everyone at Goodison Park a big lift.

Next up is a third-round home clash with Middlesbrough and Moyes wants more of the same fight and spirit.
