Neville: Big victory needed to jolt the leaders

GARY NEVILLE congratulated his Manchester United team-mates on their second successive three-goal Premiership win – and then told them Chelsea and Arsenal would not start to notice until they gave someone a real hammering.

The England full-back has been at Old Trafford long enough to know the importance of the psychological battle when the season enters its critical phase at the turn of the year.

While a run of seven straight victories represents a welcome return to form after the troubles United encountered earlier in the campaign, Neville is not convinced his club's major title rivals are nervously looking over their shoulders just yet.
