Robben on a wing and a prayer after cancer scare

ARJEN ROBBEN has spoken in detail for the first time about the cancer scare that left him fearing the worst.

The Chelsea winger has taken the Premiership by storm since he recovered from a pre-season ankle injury, but earlier this year he was stunned when doctors told him he could need an operation to overcome testicular cancer.

Robben was rested against Porto on Tuesday night, with coach Jose Mourinho believing the injury was finally catching up with the flying Dutchman.
