Wenger ready for the long haul at Highbury

ARSENE WENGER is on the verge of committing his future to Arsenal until 2008 as he insisted Premiership managerial newcomers now have it much easier than his own baptism of fire.

Wenger will extend his stay at Highbury to almost 12 years when he finally signs a new contract in the next couple of weeks.

"It's not signed yet but it will be signed. It will take me until the end of this season and then three more seasons," he revealed.
