ARSENAL suffered another disciplinary blow to their title challenge yesterday with keeper Jens Lehmann charged with misconduct by the FA.

Lehmann could receive a one-game ban if found guilty following a spat with Kevin Phillips at Southampton’s St Mary’s stadium on December 29. Phillips has also been charged.

However, Arsene Wenger will battle on in today’s clash against Middlesbrough, even though he claims that winter conditions and muddy pitches are not favouring his cultured side.
